What In The World Are These People Thinking?
February 3, 2007
The Democratic National Committee is in the midst of its winter meeting. The daily convocation yesterday was offered by an imam, Husham Al-Husainy. Here is what he had to say.
We thank you god, to bless us among your creations. We thank you, god, to make us a great nation. We thank you, god toss send us your messages through our father Abraham, and Jesus and Mohammed, through you, god, we unite, so guide us to the right spot we wish for peace, equality and help us to stop the war and violence, and oppression and occupation. (emphasis added)
Further investigation revealed this tantalizing bit of information:
Debbie Schlussel provides more information on Al-Husainy, including his involvement in pro-Hezbollah and anti-Semitic activities:
This past summer, Al-Husainy seemed very happy leading almost-daily protests of thousands of Hezbollah supporters on the streets of Dearborn and Detroit, swarming with swastikas and anti-Semitic, anti-American signs.
Later, I watched him very much enjoy himself at an anti-Semitic rally of 3,000 Hezbollah supporters at Dearborn’s Bint Jebail Cultural Center. He was among several who delivered hate-filled, anti-American rhetoric. I watched him cheer others on when they called for the hastened destruction of the Jews and when they said Americans are “diseased.”

Got something to say?

Honestly all I can say is wow…
Cannot tell you, Terri, what they are thinking, but I can provide you with the following little excerpt from the CIC:
“You know, I welcome debate in a time of war and I hope you know that,” Bush said in opening remarks as the guest speaker at a retreat that drew about 200 lawmakers to a Virginia resort.
He said disagreeing with him over the war — as many in the room do — does not mean “you don’t share the same sense of patriotism I do.”
“You can get that thought out of your mind, if that’s what some believe,” the president said. “These are tough times, but there’s no doubt in my mind that you want to secure this homeland as much as I do.”
You can find the links over at WofFear. Amazing what a little thumpin’ will do to bring this arrogant SOB to his knees!
Well, hell, I guess I am a patriot after all! Yo CJ, Cpl.M., Haystack, Patriot, I am a dang patriot after all, just like Chimpus says!!!!
And what, may I ask does THAT have to do with the topic of this post?
